Product Information from Himalayan Institute Press Ultra Light Travel Neti Pot is nearly indestructible and is now made out of a food grade and microwave safe material called High Density Polyethylene or (HDPE for short). After much research we determined this is the safest plastic on the market. It is the same material that milk jugs and many other food storage plastics are made from. The material is labeled by the plastics industry as a number 2 plastic and it can easily be recycled. Suggested Use: To use the Neti Pot, simply prepared the saline solution by adding 8 oz of warm water and a heaping 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized salt to your Neti Pot. Then turn your head to the side, and insert the spout into the upper nostril. Raise the Neti Pot so the saline solution flows into the nose and out of the lower nostril. No More Nasal Conjestion!

Used to be that nasal allergy was driving me nuts. I’ve tried nasal sprays, allergy medications with moderate success–nothing to hoot about. Then I did some research on neti pots and found that they’re the most effective way to get rid of nasal irritants for good. This one is light and unbreakable with a spout that fits nicely into the nostril. The instructions are easy and with some practice, you’ll be wondering why you didn’t discover this earlier. Good price, good results–so what are you waiting for?
Cheap quality but works

To concur with the other reviewer’s statement, it does the job, but it’s made of cheap (and I mean cheap) plastic. It shouldn’t have a price tag of more than $3.00; the packaging probably cost as much the product itself. I was kind of upset about the quality of the material so I threw it against the wall, and of course it just bounce off without a scratch. So at least it’s truly unbreakable.
I would get the ceramic one (it’s about the same price) as it has a better value.

This neti pot is very easy to use when you follow the instructions. The instructions tell what adjustments to make if it’s not working quite right. You may have to tip your head a little bit to get the saline to flow properly. I bought this one, because it seemed well designed for the purpose, and it is. Some of the other designs looked awkward to use in comparison.
I used it when I felt allergy symptoms coming on, and I didn’t have any symptoms afterwards. My only problem is not with the product itself, but with the treatment. It stopped what seemed to be allergy symptoms, but for the rest of the day I felt like I’d been swimming in the ocean and got water up my nose a few times. I used the amount of non-iodized salt in solution that is recommended. Maybe less would be better. Still, the feeling of having ocean water in the sinuses was better than constant sneezing all day long.

This is as great as it is clamined to be! It keeps me clear and free of congestion and has STOPPED my snoring! I breath freer and more easy, morning noon and night!! I just love it!!

If you aren’t doing Neti, you don’t know how good it feels to have clean, clear nostrils. This pot is pretty and has the great advantage of being unbreakable, because if you set it on your sink, sooner or later, you will drop it.

All that matters are results! I bought the plastic version because it is unbreakable, light,and just as functional.
As I write this I have a terrible case of the flu and the use of the Neti pot stopped my post nasal drip and helped to relieve my hacking. It works! Flushed out the yellow mucus from both nostrils.Beats nasal sprays.

Neti-pots are not a new phenomenon, but they work extremely well. I have daily dust allergies where I sneeze (deeply and loudly) from 20 to 50 times at once. It is truly debilitating and no prescription has worked (Veramyst sometimes works if squirted in the nostrils in the morning). You probably know what your sinuses feel like after a sneeze attack – raw, tired and stuffed like concrete. This Neti-pot is nothing more than a plastic pitcher with a spout that fits your nostrils. It’s slightly weird feeling to turn your head sideways and drain the salty water through your sinuses, but it’s like fresh air! It completely clears out your nose and sinuses instantly. DO buy the specific Neti-pot salt. Do not use table salt, as this may irritate your sinuses. The Neti-pot salt (1/2 teaspoon per pot) cleans everything out and leaves you with truly clear breathing. It is a great investment and keeps you from using those chemical filled over-the-counter inhalers. Also, clean your Neti-pot well after using. I’d give it five stars, except that this Neti-pot is priced higher than it should be.

It probably only cost about 10 cents to make, and 12 dollars seems a lot to pay for it, but it is portable and does the job.

i believe in this product. and i actually believe it is for everyone. clears the sinuses drug free, pain free, quickly. save yourself a copay and use it whenever you feel congested.

We had the ceramic neti pot, but one drop on the floor ant it was in three pieces. This one works just as well, the only thing is that the spout seems to be a little bigger than the ceramic, so hope you have bigger nostrils.
